2020年5月船舶拍卖市场报告
船舶拍卖市场行情上扬,拍卖船舶艘次达今年新高。根据拍船网(www.shipbid.net)统计数据1,2020年5月份,中国船舶拍卖总计41艘次,环比增加12艘次或41.4%,同比减少7艘次或14.6%。其中,拍卖干散货类船舶15艘次,环比增加3艘次或25%,同比减少10艘次或40%;拍卖液货类船舶2艘次,环比减少1艘次或33.3%,同比增加1艘次或100%。

拍卖金额方面,成交金额虽不及去年同期,但较上月有明显提升。5月份中国船舶拍卖总起拍价约36790万元人民币,环比增加12129万元人民币或49.2%,同比增加7032万元人民币或23.6%。总成交价约12732万元人民币,环比增加11259万元人民币或764.4%,同比减少5254万元人民币或29.2%。

船舶吨位方面2,干散货船舶拍卖总载重吨为近年来高位,油船拍卖依旧低位徘徊。5月份中国船舶拍卖干散货类船舶和液货类船舶总计约27.9万载重吨,环比增加约8.4万载重吨或43.1%,同比增加约11.5万载重吨或69.7%。其中,干散货类船舶约27.5万载重吨,环比增加约8.2万载重吨或42.5%,同比增加约11.4万载重吨或70.7%;液货类船舶约4300载重吨,环比增加2770载重吨或181%,同比增加约822载重吨或23.1%。

船舶拍卖市场复苏迹象明显,本月船舶拍卖总艘次已接近去年同期水平。成交率方面,拍卖成交率51.2%,高于去年同期,其中干散货船舶成交率达66.6%,液货类船舶成交率与去年持平。受国内基建带动,运价上涨,小吨位沿海货船行情较好,并且得益于今年风电项目大件运输市场形势良好,部分能满足风电管桩装载需求的甲板货船高溢价率成交,溢价率超100%。其他船型方面,工程类船舶成交4艘,成交价415.3万元,与上月基本持平;客滚类船舶拍卖艘次较多,但仅有1艘次成交;渔业用船本月无成交。

The ship auction market rallied in May 2020, and the number of ship auctions reached its peak this year. According to data from www.shipbid.net1, in May 2020, the total ship auctions were 41,which increased 12 and 41.4% MOM but decreased 7 or 14.6% YOY. Among them, the bulk carrier auctions were 15, which increased 3 and 25% MOM but decreased 10 or 40% YOY. The chemical & tanker auctions were 2, which decreased 1 and 33.3% MOM but increased 1 or 100% YOY.

Price of Ship Auction
The transaction price was less than the same period last year, but has increased significantly comparing with last month. The total starting price of ship auctions in May was about¥367.90m,which increased¥121.29m and 49.2% MOM and increased¥70.32m and 23.6% YOY. The total transaction price was about¥127.32m, which increased¥112.59m and 764.4% MOM but decreased¥52.54m or 29.2% YOY.

In May 2020, the total DWT of auctioned bulk carriers was the highest in recent years, while that of the chemicals & tankers remained low. The total DWT of bulk carrier and chemical & tanker auctions was279,000tons,which increased84,000tonsand 43.1%MOM and 115,000 tons and 69.7% YOY. Among them, the total DWT of bulk carriers was275,000tons, which increased 82,000 tons and 42.5% MOM and 114,000tons and 70.7% YOY. The total DWT of chemicals & tankers was4,300tons, which increased 2,770 tons and 181% MOM and increased822tons and 23.1% YOY.

The ship auction market has shown signs of recovery and the total of ship auctions in May was close to the level of last year. In terms of transaction rate, the total rate was 51.2%, higher than last year. Among them, the transaction rate of bulk carriers reached 66.6%, and that of the chemicals & tankers was the same as last year.Driven by domestic infrastructure construction, the freight rates have increased recently, and the market for small-tonnage coastal cargo ships was positive. Benefiting from the wind power projects this year, the large-scale cargo transportation market was in good situation. Some auctions of deck cargo ships which carry wind power pipe piles reached a high premium rate of over 100%. In terms of other ships, there were 4 engineering ships traded, with the transaction price of¥4.153m, equal with last month. There were many auctions of ro/ro passenger ship have held but with only one transaction. There was 0 fishing vessel traded in May.
